Subsequent to Toyota's introduction of the all-new bZ4X battery-electric SUV, the manufacturer also announced its intention to flesh out the bZ lineup with an array of BEVs ranging from compact SUVs to sedans. While details are still sketchy, there are pictures of a smaller SUV in the lineup, likely to be named the bZ3X.
The slight-sized EV crossover has a sleek silhouette with a sloping roofline akin to that of the Toyota C-HR. With coupe styling, there appears to be a continuous glass panel that would make for a very modern cabin. Slotting in below the recently-revealed bZ4X, the bZ3X will likely have similar specifications to its larger kin with at least 200 horsepower from a single- or dual-motor setup. In trying to give rivals like the Nissan Ariya a run for its money, we expect a range of at least 250 miles and loads of tech on board. Although no further information is available at the time of writing, we suspect a 2024 launch.
