Under that aggressive and angular skin, the Charger SRT8 is basically a Chrysler 300 SRT8. This sounds fantastic, since the 300 SRT8 is spectacular fun for a fraction of the cost of the competition. But that’s because the 300 SRT8 is a luxury super-sedan, and competes with high-priced German cars. The Charger SRT8 is sort of in its own category, and that makes it difficult to see how great a deal it is. It’s a great car, one of the best muscle sedans ever made, but it’s difficult to say that beats the competition when there isn’t any. Still though, one hell of a car.
