The Genesis GV70e is the upcoming all-electric version of the conventionally powered GV70 luxury SUV. A reveal is expected to take place at this year's Shanghai Auto Show the week of April 19.
Few details are available at this time, but we know based on spy shots the battery-electric version's overall exterior styling won't differ much from that of its combustion-engined counterpart. That's a good thing because the GV70 looks fantastic inside and out.
Sources claim the GV70e will achieve up to 310 miles on a single charge. This is expected to be a global model and will play a key role in the luxury brand's upcoming plans; it intends to skip hybrids and plug-in hybrids entirely and go straight to EVs.
