I absolutely love my Honda Civic Type R. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had driving a car. It’s so much fun, in fact, that I have made it my primary daily driver. I bought this car to be my track car and autocross car when I felt like it. Unfortunately, as soon as I got it home and started driving it around town, I realized how much I loved driving it every day. It is just so much better than anything else on the road today in terms of pure driving enjoyment. The engine is insanely powerful for what you get from the factory — 306 horsepower at 6500 RPM and 295 lb-ft of torque at 2500 RPM — but what really sets this car apart for me is its handling characteristics. For starters, the car weighs 3,050 lbs (dry) which means that even though there is a ton of power coming out of that 2 liter turbocharged inline 4 cylinder engine, there isn’t much weight on those wheels to put down all that power.
I've owned my Honda Civic Type R since September 2017. The car has been a blast to drive and I've enjoyed every moment behind the wheel. I've driven a lot of cars and this is by far one of the best I've ever owned. From the moment you start it up, you can hear how powerful this car is. It's a great-sounding car that makes you feel like you're driving something special when you're in it. Driving around town, the Type R feels like it could eat up any road with ease. It's quick off the line and handles turns like a champ! On long trips, I found the seats to be extremely comfortable. The back seat was also very spacious for both passengers and luggage. The infotainment system was easy to use and connected seamlessly with my phone. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase of this car!
I've owned this car for over a year, and I have to say it's one of the best cars. The car has so much power, and it's fun to drive. It's not my daily driver (I have another car for that), but when I want to go out on a Sunday afternoon and get some groceries or take the kids somewhere, it's great. I really enjoy all of the technology in the car as well. The infotainment system is easy to use and has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also has a backup camera which makes parking so much easier! There are a few downsides though: - The trunk is small; there isn't much room for groceries or luggage if you're traveling with more than one person. This is especially true if you have passengers in the back seat too because there isn't much legroom in the back seat either. - There is no spare tire included with purchase; instead you get an inflator kit, which allows you to plug into your cigarette lighter socket and inflate your tires if they get flat while driving down the road! I find this very strange considering how expensive these cars are, but at least it works well enough when needed!
I bought the car in May 2018, and it's the best car I've ever owned. The Type R is a true performance machine, but with all the creature comforts of a modern car. The steering is responsive and accurate, and the ride is smooth over rough roads. The engine is strong and sounds downright awesome when you get on it, but it's also quiet enough for daily driving. The interior is comfortable and high quality. The seats are supportive and comfortable, even on long drives (I drove about 6 hours in one day - with no complaints). The infotainment system has plenty of features that are easy to use once you get used to them. If you're looking for a performance car that can do everything well while still being fun to drive every day, this is your car!
I've had my Type R for about a month now. To do a short review I'll go over some of the pros and cons: Pros: -The car is beautiful and unique. From the front grill to the rear hatch, it stands out from the crowd. -The power is amazing; even the lower trim levels have a lot of torque. The Type R is one of the fastest cars I've driven. -The sound of the engine when you put your foot down is intoxicating! It really makes you feel like a Formula 1 driver! It sounds like an angry animal under your right foot when you accelerate hard and it's just awesome! Cons: -Fuel economy isn't great at all; I'm getting around 21 mpg in city driving which isn't good for a turbocharged engine like this one. -This car rides stiffly; if you're looking for something comfortable with great handling, this might not be for you! The ride quality isn't as smooth as other vehicles but it doesn't matter once you get going because then it becomes very smooth.
