Not due to arrive until the 2023 model year, the Volkswagen ID.6 will be as a sedan or wagon inspired by the ID. Vizzion Concept sedan and the equally stylish ID. Space Vizzion wagon. Both will be available with either a single electric motor providing rear-wheel-drive or a dual-motor setup with all-wheel drive.
With the dual-motor, a high-performance GTX variant will accelerate from 0-62 mph in around 5.6 seconds. The ID.6 will ride on VW's MEB platform which also underpins the ID.4 crossover. Several battery sizes will be offered, with the top trim boasting an 84 kWh battery providing around a 431-miles range.
