The 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 is slated to be the South Korean automaker's next all-electric vehicle that'll ride on its new E-GMP architecture, which currently underpins the recently revealed Ioniq 5. Hyundai is keeping mum on details for now but has made clear the Ioniq 6 will essentially be a production version of the stunning Prophecy concept, shown here.

This four-door luxury coupe will be capable of fast charging and a driving range possibly as high as 435 miles on a single charge. The interior will be what Hyundai describes as a "smart living space" thanks to highly adjustable seats, loads of leg and headroom, and wireless connectivity. Drivers will enjoy an all-digital display and a large touchscreen combined into a single unit.

Pricing should begin at around the $40,000 mark though federal and state tax credits will help bring that figure down.
