Hyundai recently revealed the SEVEN, the sports utility electric vehicle concept for the Ioniq brand, which the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be based on - and it's sure to shake up the segment. The Ioniq 7 is likely to follow closely in the footsteps of the SEVEN by being built on the E-GMP platform, which is conducive to an exceptional driving range and super-fast charging abilities. The SEVEN reportedly only needs around 20 minutes to charge the battery from 10 percent up to 80, which will be a boon to the Ioniq 7. The manufacturer has noted that the Ioniq 7 is likely to feature new SK Innovation batteries with 100-kWh capacity that can support 800-volt ultra-fast charging. A 300-mile driving range can be expected, with some versions producing as much as 308 horsepower.

Although much of the finer details remain unknown, Hyundai has stated that the Ioniq 7 will be spacious enough for three rows of seats to accommodate up to seven passengers, and if the SEVEN concept is anything to go by, you can expect a lengthy wheelbase with the wheels pushed to the extremities for more space inside the cabin. And, thanks to the flat floor, there should be great flexibility in terms of configuring cargo space.

An official reveal is still some time away, but with the recent reveal of the SEVEN concept, Hyundai is sure to filter through more information on the Ioniq 7 in the coming months.
