• F-Type: Riding on 18-inch wheels and powered by a turbocharged four-pot, the base-level F-Type is no slouch. However, for the best performance, the supercharged V6 with 375 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque is the way to go. This allows the soft-top to go from 0-60 mph in a brisk 5.4 seconds and cruise at speeds of up to 155 mph.
• F-Type R: For top levels of performance, however, there is no substitute for the F-Type R. The lack of a manual transmission option is a bit disappointing, considering the growling supercharged V8 under the hood. Nevertheless, the most powerful of the Jaguar convertible models is a dream to drive, thanks to its refined steering and expert handling.
• F-Type SVR: The SVR was discontinued in 2020, during Jaguar’s 60th anniversary. It used to be the only place you could find the 567-hp V8, but now the new R gets access to it, too. The SVR is still an attractive piece of machinery, but it is no longer among the list of modern convertible cars from Jaguar.
