In a continuous battle to be superior to one another, luxury automakers have had to up their game constantly to remain at the top. Here are a few of our favorites:

• Mercedes-Benz: S-Class variants are at the forefront of the segment, with the normal S-Class holding the top spot and the S63 following closely behind.
• BMW: The Bavarian automaker follows a similar trend, with both the 8 Series Coupe and the M8 Coupe holding spot in the top ten.
• Audi - The Audi TTRS just falls short of the top ten but the R8 Coupe is right up there with the best of them. The former is more than half the price of the latter, but both are excellent products in this segment.

• Pricing - With a plethora of vehicles in this segment coming with a six-figure sticker, you’re not going to find an especially affordable product. Then again, you can’t be shopping for luxury with a tight budget.
