Buy Used Mazda Models

Mazda is known for producing some of the most fuel-efficient, high-tech cars in the USA with none of its cars sporting anything larger than a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. A Mazda electric car would make a lot of sense, and it’s about time the savvy Japanese automaker introduced one to its range.

Mazda Electric Vehicle Range

Currently, there is just a single electric vehicle in the Mazda range, but the Japanese automaker has stated that it’s planning to expand its EV selection going forward:

  • MX-30 - The MX-30 is a compact luxury crossover SUV and Mazda’s first-ever all-electric vehicle. It looks like a classic Mazda but updated with modern EV-esque design elements that many EVs are adopting these days. It brings its own flair and uniqueness, however, with its “freestyle” or suicide rear doors. Eco-conscious Americans will appreciate the fact that the MX-30’s modern and high-tech interior consists of many renewably sourced materials such as cork trim and fibrous textile upholstery made from recycled plastic. It’s electric powertrain and battery produce 144 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque for its front wheels. Despite boasting impressive mpg ratings, the Mazda EV only offers a maximum mileage range of 130 miles on a full charge.
