Polestar's next sedan is due to launch sometime before 2025. The Polestar 3 SUV will arrive first, however. With the sole exception of the Polestar 1, the Swedish brand's entire lineup is pure battery-electric. The Polestar 5, expected to be manufactured in China, will share a platform with the Polestar 3 and promises to be a strong rival to the likes of the Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model S.
We already have a solid preview regarding its exterior and interior styling thanks to the Precept concept vehicle, pictured here. However, we can already confirm the concept's suicide doors and narrow side camera mirrors won't make production.
If the Polestar5 aims to be a serious Tesla rival, it'll need a driving range close to or above 500 miles on a single charge. Polestar aims to be a leader in EV technologies so this goal is likely to be met. More details are due to arrive in the coming few years. Until then, be patient.
