This German tuner changes the meaning of "glamping."
Folks are doing some wild things with the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. From half-million-dollar 3D printed one-offs to million-dollar bulletproof tanks, the Cullinan has become something of a high-end tuner car. Y'know, for super, super-rich people. But those two examples really only make the Rolls flashier (or more bulletproof). And sure, that's kind of what the Cullinan is about. But until now, no one has really added to the "utility" part of the Cullinan SUV's name.
That's where German tuners delta4x4 come in. They make parts (and cars with those parts) for off-road use. Their products cover everything from the ever-popular Jeep Wrangler to off-roaders you might not have heard of, like the Mitsubishi L200 or Mercedes-Benz X-Class. Even the Porsche 911 or the Tesla Model 3 can be given the off-road treatment. Now, deltz4x4 will sell you an overlanding Cullinan with a roof tent.
As with any good off-road build, the first step is adding some ground clearance. delta4x4 manages this with a three-inch lift kit and a new 33-inch beadlocking wheel and tire package, bringing total clearance up by six inches. delta4x4 also offers a full underbody protection pack with a new front underbody bracket. As a result of the extra-huge tires from Mickey Thompson, delta has created a set of custom wheel arch extensions. At least now you don't have to worry about messing up the paint as much. With that extra grip and protection, you'll actually be able to put the Cullinan's "Low" mode to use.
And because of that extra clearance and grip, you'll be able to get further off the beaten track, which is where the custom roof rack comes in. In addition to being able to move all your junk from the leather trunk up there, it's also strong enough to hold a roof tent.
PIAA lights are also attached to the front bar to help increase visibility. With any luck, that means you'll be able to see the giant river you're about to cross thanks to the new snorkel system. In short, delta4x4 has totally transformed the Cullinan.
Of course, all that work on your $330,000 luxury SUV doesn't come cheap. You can get the above items piecemeal, like the wheel, tire, and lift package for the equivalent of $16,308 while the custom wheel arch extensions will run you $15,220. However, if you'd like, you can simply have it all the way delta4x4 intended it. That'll cost the equivalent of $163,080 in Germany, excluding the price of the SUV itself, but arguably makes the Cullinan significantly cooler than when it left the factory.
