GMC has just announced it will launch an all-electric full-size pickup truck, likely sometime in 2023. A final date, nor a name, has been announced at this time. What we do know is that it will be the corporate cousin to the also upcoming Chevrolet Silverado EV.

The Hummer EV truck and SUV are bigger and much more expensive than this truck, which is intended to directly compete against the Ford F-150 Lightning. But like the Hummer models and Silverado EV, the new GMC EV will utilize General Motor's Ultium batteries and will probably be built at the Factory Zero plant in Detroit, Michigan.
