The Valhalla will be a limited-production hypercar from Aston Martin. Originally expected to go on sale sometime in late 2021, the hypercar has been delayed numerous times and will now arrive towards the tail-end of 2023. The car is the second mid-engined effort that has resulted from a partnership between Aston Martin and the Red Bull Formula 1 team.
We don't know exactly how much power the car will put down. It was originally scheduled to utilize a twin-turbo hybrid V6 engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, but after the various delays and Tobias Moers being instated as CEO, it is now likely that the Valhalla will make use of a hybrid power plant from Mercedes-AMG. The car is expected to be very light, as the F1 partnership should bring some of racing's obsession with weight down to the production vehicle.
Only 500 of the cars will be produced, and if previous releases like this are any indication, many of them are likely already spoken for. Tobias Moers has confirmed the production will start in 2023, with pricing just shy of $1.3 million.
