Built to take on the BMW X6, the ZDX follows the same formula, and is basically an MDX with a swoopier body. Acura learned from BMW’s mistakes though, and have been a bit more conservative with the styling. Some still may not be crazy about the ZDX’s looks, but it is far less divisive than the BMW. The ZDX gets the MDX’s excellent chassis, which means it is both pleasant to drive and one of the most capable unibody crossovers on the market. It also boasts an excellent interior and a much lower price than the competition. You just have to get past the weirdness of it.
