I have owned my 2012 Ford Explorer XLT for a little over two years now. I bought it used with 32,000 miles on it. It has been a great vehicle. I like the power of the engine and the ride is very comfortable. The only issue I have had is with the tires wearing out prematurely. They seemed to wear down very fast and did not hold up well at all when driving in snow or ice conditions. The interior of this SUV is very nice and comfortable for long trips if needed. The seats are leather and heated which makes driving in colder weather more enjoyable. The radio system sounds good as well as having bluetooth capability for hands-free cell phone use while driving. I've noticed that there are many different trim levels available for this model, so you can find one that suits your needs best. Overall, I would highly recommend this vehicle.
I have had my Ford Explorer for about a year now and could not be more pleased with it. I have the XLT trim level, which is just above the base model, but it still has all of the essentials. It's a very comfortable and smooth ride. The back seats are roomy enough for adults to sit comfortably, and there is plenty of legroom in front. The storage space in the back is great, with plenty of room for groceries or luggage. It also has an integrated roof rack that makes it easy to attach a bike rack or cargo carrier. The hitch can also be used to tow small trailers if needed. The only downside to this vehicle is that it doesn't have much speed when going up hills, especially with a full load, but I expected that from an SUV.
I love my Ford Explorer! I bought it used and it has been a great vehicle. I had a few minor problems with it but they were all covered under warranty. One of the issues that I have had was with the air conditioner when it first started and it took about 5-10 minutes for the AC to kick in. This was probably due to the fact that it was a previously owned vehicle and there might have been a little bit of moisture in the AC system that needed to be vented out before the AC could work again, but since then everything has been fine and has worked great. The car runs great, gets good gas mileage, and has plenty of room for hauling things around. The only thing that I would change about this car is that I wish it had leather seats instead of cloth so they didn't get dirty as fast. Other than that, there is nothing else I could ask for from this vehicle!
