I have always been a loyal Toyota owner. I purchased my first car from them, a 1995 Corolla, and now I own a 2014 Rav4. I've only had the Rav4 for about 18 months, but it has been pretty good so far. The only problem I've had is that the car was recalled twice for electrical problems. It's been fine since, though. As far as maintenance goes, I've taken the car to my Toyota dealership for servicing. They do oil changes and tire rotations; nothing major yet. However, I have found that the service is expensive compared to other dealerships, so next time I will probably take my Rav4 somewhere else to save money. Hopefully there won't be any more recalls or serious problems with the car. Fingers crossed!
We have had the Rav4 for about 6 months now and are very happy with it. There is plenty of room for our family of 5. We did not want to get a 3rd row SUV, so this worked out perfectly. We also have 2 dogs and they fit great in the back with the seats down. The gas mileage is pretty good at around 28mpg on the highway, but not too bad around town either. We previously had a 2006 Toyota 4Runner that we drove over 200k miles and only did routine maintenance on - never had any major issues and could not be happier with the reliability of our Toyota vehicles!
I purchased my 2015 Rav4 Limited in October 2014 after doing extensive research on various vehicles and models. My main criteria were fuel economy, reliability, and low cost of maintenance. My Rav4 has exceeded my expectations for each category. It gets 28 mpg on the highway and about 22-24 mpg in city driving conditions. I have never had any mechanical problems or major repairs needed after owning it for over two years now. It rides very comfortably and has plenty of room for my wife and three kids (ages 10-13). In addition, we recently took a trip from Atlanta to Orlando Florida, which took us through some pretty rough roads due to construction projects along our route that caused long delays due to traffic jams. The Rav4 managed without any problems.
The Toyota RAV4 is a great car for families. It has a spacious interior and room for five people. It has enough space for luggage, too. The only thing you may need to keep in mind is that the back seat is not as comfortable as it could be. The front seats are comfortable, but the back seat isn’t as comfortable as some of the other cars I’ve driven. I love the fact that this car has a sunroof because it makes driving more enjoyable on sunny days. I also like how spacious it is inside - there is plenty of legroom for both front and back passengers. Even with five people in the car, there was still plenty of room left over for luggage.
I have been in love with Toyotas for a long time. They are one of the few non-luxury brands that I will still buy because they are reliable, safe, and most importantly, affordable. In the past I have owned a 2001 RAV4, 2008 RAV4, and a 2010 Camry SE. 2008 RAV4s were great and I think this one has been my favorite. First of all, this car has so much more room than you would expect from a compact SUV. It is also very comfortable to drive and seats five people comfortably. The interior is very nice as well with leather seats and plenty of leg oom for everyone. One complaint I have heard about this model is that it can be hard to see out of the back window when backing up but I don't find this to be too big of an issue since there are sensors that warn you if there is something behind you while reversing. Another thing that I really like about this vehicle is how powerful it feels when driving on the highway or taking off from stop signs.
